Pakistan is located between 24 and 36.75 northern latitudes and between 61 to 75.05  eastern longitude. The Pakistan and Afghanistan border line is known as Durand line of 2611 km which runs from the Pamir mountains and Hindu Kush.Pakistan has an 800km coastline along The Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. A narrow strip of Afghan Gorno-Badakhashan territory called the Wakhan Corridor extends between Pakistan and Tajikistan. From the eastern tip of the Wakhan corridor starts a Sino-Pak border between the People's Republic of China and Pakistan spanning about 599 km. It carries from south-eastward and ends near the Karakoram pass.                                                                               The boundary with Iran 909km was first delimited by the British Commission in the same year as the Durand Line was demarcated. The Pakistan and India boundary continues irregularly southward for about 2100km.

More than 2.5 billion people reside in Pakistan which is of great importance for them because they can access western neighbors of Pakistan and can send their goods there via Pakistan. Pakistan can counter the rising threat of India in the region against China.

Gateways to Central Asia ( oil and energy game):

Central Asia is the central stage of new great games. After the USSR declined new quest started which is mentioned by the politics of Pakistan is located very close to the oil Middle Eastern countries. The belt started from Iran and extends to Saudi Arabia. Thus Pakistan can influence the shipment of oil. Iran is struggling to export its surplus oil and gas to Eastern countries in the energy-scarce world. Pakistan is located at the junction of energy-rich countries. China finds its way to the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea through the Karakorum Highway and over to Through the route China can fulfill the needs of its Western countries.

Significance as a transit Economy:

Pakistan has the potential to develop a transit Economy on account of its strategic location. China with its fastest economic growth rate of 9 percent is developing southern provinces because its own part is 4500 km away from Xinjiang but Gawader is 2500 km away. Moreover, Pakistan offers the central Asian region the shortest way of 2600 km as compared to Iran's 4500km or Turkey's 5000 km. Gawader with its deep waters attracts the attention of China, the Central Asian Republic, and Southeast Asian countries. Moreover, the seaside of Pakistan's province Baluchistan can provide an outlet for China's western province to have access to Middle Eastern markets with the development of seaside highways and motorways. Gawader is located at the confluence of southwest and south Asia and central Asia not far away it emerged as finally oil and gas hub petrochemical hub with Pakistan as a crucial energy corridor linking Pakistan with China.

Natural resources:

It is believed that the most important factor that can be essential for any country is the natural resources. Pakistan is a world-populous country due to its resources. Pakistan has the fifth-largest gold mine in Baluchistan the second-largest salt mine in Punjab and the world sixth largest coal mine in Punjab also. Pakistan has the three greatest mountains in the world. These are safe from Siberia winds. the huge glaciers provide water to the rivers. Our marketing makes it an avid centre point for export of the commodities by our neighbors.

Bridges between South Asia and West Asia:

Iran and Afghanistan are energy abundant and India and China lack of. China finds its way to the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea through Karakorum.

 Pakistan and the Muslim Countries:

If we look at the map of the Muslim countries Pakistan occupies the central station. thus it can participate actively in the activities of the Muslim world's economic development, transport of resources, and above all combat terrorism.Only Muslim country with nuclear capability:

The geopolitical importance of Pakistan:

 Pakistan's location and the CPEC:

Pakistan has always been a point of interest for neighboring nations for its Geo-Strategic position. CPEC is the best example in this regard. China is developing Gawader because it touches the warm weather of the Indian Sea and will cut hundreds of kilometers from China's route to reach the Middle East and Africa. It is all because of the Geo-Strategic position of Pakistan.
